Our Store Policies

By purchasing you are agreeing to all of the below conditions and policies. Please read the whole page thoroughly and carefully before placing your order.

We do not guarantee sex of any animals under 20 grams.

Please contact us with any questions prior to ordering.

All sales are final. Please refer to shipping policies and LAG (live arrival guarantee) regarding live animal purchases.

Live Animal Shipping Policies

The below policies are for US shipping only. For international orders, please contact us through the Contact Form.

 

Shipping temperatures must stay between 45-85 degrees both for the sender and recipient to assure safety of the animal. If temperatures are not within this range, we will hold the gecko until weather permits. Every shipment contains cryopaks to ensure safe arrival.

Shipments go out Tuesdays and Wednesdays to prevent shipment delays. Please allow 2-3 days for processing your order prior to shipment.  If we have contacted you regarding questions about your shipment, please refer to our Response Timeframe policy.

Live Arrival Guarantee

For live animal sales, we only ship with priority overnight. Shipping to your local FedEx hub is safer for the animal and always recommended. If you know your local hub, please include the address in your notes. Do still check out with your home address. If you are unfamiliar with your local hubs, please indicate in the notes that you would like a list of local hubs, and we will provide them for you. Shipping is provided with Reptiles2You. 

If shipping directly to your home address, you must be present for delivery and inform me when opened. If delivery is missed, the live arrival guarantee is invalidated. If hub pickup is selected, you are expected to pick up within 4 hours for the guarantee to remain valid.

If the animal appears poorly, or passes during shipping (DOA), pictures of the animal immediately upon unpacking are required for refund or exchange. You must unpack the animal as soon as received and contact us for the live arrival guarantee to apply.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We are not responsible for tail drops during shipping. We are not responsible for lost packages. If you notice a delay with your package, inform us and we will have Reptiles2You open a case.

Pickup at a local hub is strongly advised. 

Please note for out-of-country exports, our LAG pertains only to shipment to the exporter. Be sure to communicate with your exporter regarding their LAG policies. We do not cover export/import costs, nor any other fees associated. 

Response Timeframe Policy

Regarding live animal purchases, if we contact you regarding your order prior to shipping  and do not hear back from you within 14 days, you forfeit your animal and no refund will be given. We do not tolerate ghosting.
